Al Ain Zoo Eid Al Etihad celebrations

Al Ain Zoo marks the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad with traditional performances, kids’ workshops, a heritage souq, new restaurants, and exciting wildlife experiences.

Al Ain Zoo is celebrating the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad with two days of cultural entertainment, family workshops, heritage activities, and newly opened attractions — making it one of Abu Dhabi’s must-visit festive destinations this year.

Happening on 01st and 02nd December, the celebrations will feature traditional Ayala and Harbiya performances, roaming entertainment, and live stage shows hosted by Emirati influencer AlMazyood. Families can explore a series of heritage-inspired workshops, including calligraphy, henna, pottery, embroidery, and clay art.

Eid Al Etihad activities

A dedicated main stage will host cultural performances, LED dancers, puppet shows, and interactive acts, while the limited-time heritage souq will offer themed kiosks, traditional games, a 360-camera experience, and an open-air cinema.

Guests can also enjoy Al Ain Zoo’s newly enhanced visitor experience, including eight brand-new restaurants and cafés such as Wild Burger and Zarafa Restaurant, a new retail store (Safari Souq), and an improved air-conditioned hop-on, hop-off shuttle for easier navigation.

Wildlife lovers shouldn’t miss the new gorilla sanctuary, along with the return of the zoo’s popular hippo and crocodile exhibits. The day concludes with The Heritage Show, a stunning projection mapping display illuminating the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre at 6:30 PM.

Al Ain Zoo is open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Admission: AED 31.50 (adults), AED 10.50 (children 3–12), free for children under 3.
