Air Arabia Abu Dhabi To Start Flights From 14th July

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is UAE’s newest airline that will start flights to Alexandria and Sohag from 14th July.

In the midst of travel restrictions slowly easing off and flights beginning to function,  Air Arabia and Etihad Airways have partnered to launch a new affordable air carrier. The debut is set to fly first to Egypt on 14th July with touchdowns in Alexandria and Sohag.

“In these extraordinary times, it gives us great pride to launch Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first low-cost carrier,” said Tony Douglas, Group CEO at Etihad Aviation Group, in a statement. “This joint venture between Etihad and Air Arabia will offer greater convenience and direct access to the UAE’s thriving capital for new markets, beginning with two key Egyptian routes, and expanding in time.

The flights will deploy Airbus A320 aircraft based at Abu Dhabi International Airport, and offering the “same value-added product and services provided by Air Arabia across its hubs”.

The teams have taken special care to ensure the health and safety of the passengers and the sanitisation of the aircraft.  This new launch seems to be the silver lining that the aviation sector needs to reiterate that things will soon be back to normal.

We will update you as we learn of any more places being added to the flying roster. So stay tuned!

The flight can be booked on the official Air Arabia website.
