  • What is hypnotherapy and how would you define the benefits?

Hypnotherapy is guided hypnosis, or a trance-like state of focus and concentration achieved with the help of a hypnotherapist. This state is similar to being completely absorbed in a book, movie, music or even one’s thoughts. While in this state – which is a natural psychological state, clients can turn their attention completely inward to find and utilize the natural resources deep within themselves, that can help them make changes or regain control in certain areas of their lives. Hypnotherapy is wonderful in a sense that it’s fast working and it allows a person to be more open to discussion and suggestions.

  • What are the usual concerns that your clients have?

Hypnotherapy can be used to help with a wide range of issues. Common concerns are anxiety, phobias, fears, undesirable spontaneous behaviors and bad habits just to name a few.

  • Common myths about hypnotherapy that you wished people wouldn’t worry about?

People often fear that being hypnotized will make them lose control or surrender their will, but that is far from the truth. It is important to know that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. In hypnosis you’re not under the control of the hypnotherapist, a hypnotherapist simply serves as a facilitator to guide you.
