Free Parking In Abu Dhabi Starting 02nd December
Starting 02nd December, free parking in Abu Dhabi for the UAE’s 52nd Union Day celebrations. The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has rolled out special arrangements for the convenience of residents and visitors.
Parking Freedom:
From Saturday, 02nd December 2023, until 7.59 am on Tuesday, 05th December, parking becomes stress-free as MAWAQiF parking fees and those at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot are waived during the official holiday. The ITC urges drivers to adhere to designated parking areas, avoid prohibited zones, and maintain smooth traffic flow.
Toll Gate Treat:
Experience a toll-free journey through the Darb toll gate system on Saturday, 02nd December. Normal toll gate fees resume on Tuesday, 05th December, during peak hours (7 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 7 pm).
Enhanced Bus Services:
Public bus services will align with weekend and official holiday schedules during the 52nd Union Day holiday. In addition to regular services, extra regional and intercity trips will be available, catering to increased demand during this festive period, including transportation to and from the Sheikh Zayed Festival.
Customer Happiness Centres Closure:
The ITC’s Customer Happiness Centres will be closed from Saturday, 02nd December and resume operations on Tuesday, 05th December. However, residents can conveniently access ITC services online through the official website (www.itc.gov.ae), Darbi, Darb websites and apps, and the “TAMM” platform for digital government services in Abu Dhabi.
