There is no speed buffer in place for the capital city of UAE
The Abu Dhabi Police have reduced the speed limit on Abu Dhabi – Al Ain road from 160kmph to 140 kmph.
According to the joint advisory by the police and Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre, the maximum speed will apply from Al Sad Bridge to Al Amera Bridge in the direction of Al Ain city.
Starting 14th November, the changes will be implemented. It is important to note that Abu Dhabi does not have any speed buffer limit.
The Abu Dhabi Police called upon the motorists to drive safely and follow speed limits at all times.
According to the authorities, slowing down on highways leads to significant improvement in road safety.
