W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island will take part in Earth Hour celebrations by hosting the incredible Abri at Living Room Live on March 26th. The performance will amplify the conversation on the meaning of Earth Hour, and shine a light on an incredible local artist.
On 26th March doors will open at 7.45 pm for guests to enjoy some light sips and bites and get ready for the performance. During Earth Hour, the lights will be turned off and only candles will light up the hotel’s Living Room, making the hotel come to life. Abri’s tunes will sweep you off your feet with live performance under the spotlight, filled with chill vibes and UAE’s No1 award-winning artist.
Born and brought up in Dubai, Abri is the No1 artist in the UAE and the founder of the homonymous band: described as the ‘best original band Dubai has ever seen. Adding another feather to his hat, Abri has shared the stage with international artists including, Kanye West, Mika, Joss Stone, and Ziggy Marley amongst others. His music sees influences as diverse as samba, jazz, soul, R&B, and swing, all under an accessible pop polish.
Guests can continue their evening at W Lounge and get the first drink on them, and grove it up with resident DJ James takes over the night.
Celebrated annually on the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour is a tradition of shutting down electric lights for an hour. The aim is to increase awareness and spark global conversations on protecting nature, tackling the climate crisis, and working together to shape a brighter future for us all.
