Abu Dhabi and Dubai are now more closely linked than ever before, thanks to a new deal signed between Etihad Airways and Emirates Airline.

This deal offers more options for travellers when visiting or leaving the UAE, giving them the flexibility to travel across multiple Emirates without worrying about having to return via their arrival airport.

The agreement was signed at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, with both airlines initially focusing on attracting visitors from select points in Europe and China.

This new agreement provides a strong foundation for both airlines to expand their customer offerings and boost UAE tourism, supporting the UAE’s vision for continued economic diversification.

Emirates Airline President, Sir Tim Clark, said that the agreement leverages on the strengths of both airlines to offer a new range of seamless travel options in and out of the UAE. Meanwhile, Etihad Airways CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, expressed delight in partnering with Emirates to support inbound tourism to the UAE and facilitate travel to its vibrant cities.
