With the celebratory mood of the UAE’s 49th National Day in the air, one and all are invited to visit the prestigious mall situated at the picturesque promenade.
Experience the interactive #IAMUAE community installation to be located at The Galleria, Al Maryah Island in the North Atrium near Debanhams, click a selfie with friends and family and create a social media mural of the UAE’s flag. To commemorate this important day, there is also the chance to take home mementoes including pins and flags!
Wear patriotism on your sleeve, as the festivities only gets bigger and better with the key highlights this year: learning about the diversity of the great nation’s people, the inclusiveness of the culture and the countless achievements of its rulers.
The #IAMUAE National Day celebrations will continue with the Abu Dhabi debut of Fantini Mosaici’s ‘Designed for Sharing’ charity art exhibition. The Galleria will display 19 mosaic tables in the shape of the UAE map for this unique collaboration. The exhibition’s pieces will highlight some of the nation’s greatest landmarks and values that make the UAE the special place it is, designed with intricate detail. The design studio has also created two unique pieces for the project, one inspired by the UAE flag and another showcasing the new UAE brand logo.
The collection of designs from citizens and residents from all walks of life includes contributions from artists, sports personalities, journalists, photographers, designers, and entrepreneurs such as Sebastian Tagliabue, Argentinian soccer player professional for Al Nasr and the UAE National team, Nashwa Al Ruwaini, Emirati entrepreneur, philanthropist and CEO of Pyramedia, and Fedrico Alba, professional Italian golf player at the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.
