To celebrate The Year Of Tolerance 2019, the Korean Film Festival will be held in Abu Dhabi from 26th June to 29th June at Vox Cinema, Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. The festival will be hosted by the Embassy Of The Republic of Korea.
Starting with the drama film “Innocent Witness”, the movie is based on the story of a lawyer and a teenage witness with autism.
Other films like “Romang” shows different lives of different societies, while an Emirati film “Nearby Sky” will share great value of tolerance and entertainment in this film festival.
This event will also feature films of historic events from Korean history like “MAL.MO.E The Secret Mission” and “A Resistance”.
Special guest actor LEE Kyu-Hyung who plays the role of an honest prosecutor in the film “Innocent Witness” will be as a special guest at the screening of his opening film on 26th June at Vox Cinema, Yas Mall.
LEE will be having a signing event at the foyer from 6.00 pm and following the screening, he will have a brief Q & A session with the audience along with the producer of the film , LEE Jun-woo.
Debuted in 2001, LEE Kyu-hyung has a dynamic acting career in plays, musicals, TV dramas and movies. He has gained his popularity playing unique characters in TV series “Stranger” and “Prison Playbook” that are both on Netflix.
