The upcoming Abu Dhabi Art Fair 2023, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), is set to be a monumental five-day celebration of art.
With an astounding addition of 37 new galleries, along with the return of 55 favorites. This year’s event will showcase a record-breaking 92 galleries – nearly double the number from its early editions.
As the culmination of Abu Dhabi Art’s year-long visual arts program, the 2023 fair features galleries representing over 30 countries.
Among the exciting additions are pioneering entrants from Singapore and Georgia, as well as South American participants from Mexico, Chile, and Brazil.
The event has become a vital cultural platform, particularly in the thriving art scene of West Asia, North Africa, and South Asia.
Diversity takes center stage in this year’s fair, building upon its impressive 14-year legacy by highlighting diverse geographies through curated exhibitions and commissions. Abu Dhabi Art is committed to embracing varied curatorial perspectives, enriching the art ecosystem in the emirate and across the nation.
The fair collaborates closely with curators, gallery representatives, galleries, and artists. In 2023, expect to encounter renowned figures like Maneli Keykavioussi, focusing on South America.
