Car Parking Fees Reinstated From 1st July

Abu Dhabi Parking

It’s official: Soon it will cost you to park your car again in Abu Dhabi.

It’s been three months since the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) announced that parking fees would be waivered due to the COVID-19 pandemic..

In two weeks’ time, this is set to end and you’ll be charged again for parking your car in the capital.

From 8 am on 1st July, Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has said fees for car parking will be reinstated across the capital.

You’ll be able to pay your car parking fees via the Darb app or by sending an SMS to 3009 using this format: City code and plate category (space) standard or premium parking (space) duration.

The only time you won’t have to pay parking fees are on Fridays and official holidays. People of determination will be exempt from all parking fees.

For those praying in a mosque, you’ll get 45 minutes free parking. The Integrated Transport Company is asking those who usual have parking permits to check their validity.

Permits can be renewed online via the ITC website.
