Minds And Fun Collide: Top Reasons Why You Won’t Forget This Family-Friendly Spectacle

Part festival, part conference – the upcoming Ideas Abu Dhabi promises to be all these and more.

The two-day event happening from 27th to 28th March in NYUAD on Saadiyat Island is organised to explore some of the world’s most significant ideas and innovations.

At the forefront are key speakers who will discuss topics on social, scientific and technological advancements.

But equally exciting are the family-friendly activities that are as diverse as the topics that will be presented during the talks.

To give you a clear picture of what to expect, here are the top reasons to check out Ideas Abu Dhabi…

Live acts. Visitors will be treated with live performances from Emirati pop sensation Balqees, while oud master Ahmed Al Shaiba will display his master of the Arabic stringed instrument. Meanwhile, Belgian choreographer Kriman will take on the stage for a dance number and Jordanian pop star Dina Rabadi, who will play acoustic tracks.

Inspiring talks. Bright minds will give the lowdown on what the present and future holds. Invited speakers are Academy and Emmy-award winning director, Anthony Geffen, who will talk about the role of virtual and augmented realities in filmmaking; robotics and bran-machine interfaces expert, Jose del R. Millan; Danil Tammet, who is renowned for his extraordinary memory; and exponential tech specialist, Amin Toufani, who will dissect the bigger role and impact of technology in our lives ten years from now.

Mind-bending fun. Activities lined-up will both entertain and challenge guests. Attractions like Brain Race, which uses mind-reading technologies;
