Are you ready to take your hooks, mounts and rolls to the next level? Mubadala Sports Centre has thrown open its doors, and fans of combat sports will not want to miss out on what’s in store.
The facility, the largest sporting complex in Abu Dhabi, will host the training of professional jiu-jitsu fighters, as well as the next-gen stars from the UAE.
Located in Al Bahia on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai motorway, the state-of-art-fitness centre is spread over two floors and is home to more than 200 pieces of cardiovascular and resistance training equipment. Two similar gyms will be opened in Dubai and Al Ain by the end of the year.
Not into Jiu-Jitsu?
With various other activities, you’ll have your hands full with involvement from specialised groups of fitness classes. Spinning, yoga and zumba. A dedicated women’s gym section is introduced and combat sports practice where girls can hone their skills.
We cannot wait for the EXPO 2021 to flash & host the world’s largest Jiu-Jitsu training session on 15th November where Abu Dhabi secured the rights to host 13th edition of the World’s Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championships after a successful tournament this year.
