Eid al-Adha

It’s good news for Abu Dhabi residents as the National Sterilisation Programme starts at a later time.

Residents across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will from today, Saturday, 30th May, be able to stay outside their homes until 10 pm, as the timings of the National Sterilisation Programme in Abu Dhabi have changed.

The new timings are now from 10 pm to 6 am daily. Previously, the programme took place between 8 pm and 6 am.

The curfew will still be in place from 10 pm to 6 pm and residents can only leave home during those times if faced with an emergency.

Those who do need to leave the house after 10 pm must apply for a permit and don’t forget, there’s a new radar system in place to identify those violating the curfew timings.

Recently, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi sent hotel properties across the emirate guidelines outlining the steps to be taken for hotel swimming pools, beaches, bars, restaurants and gyms to open up again.
