Ahead of the country’s 50th UAE National Day celebrations and the UAE’s Commemoration day, adhere to the Covid-19 safety rule. Health officials have informed residents and tourists to enjoy the holiday spirit with safety as priority.

Here’s what you need to keep in mind ahead of the 50th UAE National Day

  • Mandatory use of Face Masks indoor and crowded areas.
  • Events and celebrations will have a limit of maximum capacity of 80 percent.
  • Residents must present negative results of a PCR test conducted less than 96 hours prior to the event.
  • Social distancing will be implemented, a physical distance of 1.5 meters. This rule does not apply to members of the same family.
  • Greetings  should be given from a distance, without any physical contact.
  • People of all ages are allowed to attend the event. However they need to have a vaccine more than 14 days ago, received a booster shot, or have a green-pass status on their Al Hosn application.
  • People are required to refrain from overcrowding and monitor their symptoms.
  • Organizers of any events will form specialized teams to ensure that everyone is adhering to the protocol and its guidelines. They will manage the event’s entry and exit points to prevent crowds.
