UAE Weather Forecast Surface Low Pressure and Stormy Weather!

UAE weather update: The UAE is bracing for stormy weather as a surface low pressure system extends from the Red Sea, accompanied by humid southeasterly winds. According to the latest update from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), this system will affect the country from Wednesday evening through Thursday.

From Sunday to Wednesday daytime, expect the formation of local convective rainy clouds, with a chance of hail in eastern areas extending to some internal and western regions.

By Wednesday evening and into Thursday, the surface low pressure from the Red Sea will bring humid southeasterly winds, along with an extension of low pressure from the northwest. This will result in different types of clouds, including convective clouds associated with moderate to heavy rainfall over scattered areas. Lightning, thunder, and hail are also possible, starting from the west on Wednesday night and extending across most areas of the country on Thursday, particularly in western, coastal, and some eastern regions.

Heading into Friday and Saturday, cloud cover will gradually decrease, but there remains a chance of light to moderate rainfall, possibly heavy in some southern and eastern areas.

Winds will be moderate to fresh, varying between southeasterly to northeasterly, with occasional strength, especially during convective cloud activity. This may lead to blowing dust and sand, reducing horizontal visibility.

Expect moderate to rough sea conditions, particularly in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, especially during periods of cloud cover.

Stay updated on UAE weather forecasts and exercise caution during this period of inclement weather.”
