Video game fans, take note! A three-day gaming festival is returning in Abu Dhabi this month. Video game has moved to the next level of engagement for players.
The third instalment of Middle East Games Con happens from 24th to 26th October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
Gamers will have plenty to look forward with 12 zones housing a variety of thrilling activities from demos to merchandise stalls to e-games.
Some of this year’s highlights include a virtual-reality zone featuring Robocom VR’s interactive simulator based on the Transformers), the Middle East debut of DOOM Eternal and official game play showcase of Cyberpunk 2077 with Arabic subtitles.
Wrestling diehards, meanwhile, can get their hands on the freshly released WWE 2K20 game.
Game developer Ubisoft will give guests the chance to demo yet-to-be released games Watch Dogs: Legion and Roller Champions.
Visitors will also have a chance to get involved in Just Dance 2020 on stage on all three days.
Competitive gamers can unleash their skills by participating in the game competitions sponsored by Playtonia Esports.
The e-games competition will feature Rainbow Six Siege, Tekken 7, Street Fighter V and Nintendo Switch with cash and consoles up for grabs.
Feel like showing up in a Naruto costume? Go ahead and even sign up to the cosplay competition for a chance to gain a share of the AED 18,000 prize pot.
Get star struck with the sight of YouTube gaming celebrities MatPat, Azzyland and Kwebbelkop, as they engage in live gaming shows and meet-and-greet with fans.
