Get into the holiday spirit and step into a whimsical setup of Christmas decorations and festive experiences as The Galleria, Al Maryah Island transforms into a spectacular Winter Wonderland, this December.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate the spirit of the season with a spectacular extravaganza of roaming entertainment, winter sales, a joyful winter village and Santa Claus himself amongst other activities curated to offer yet another year of unbeatable festive fun!

Like every other year, expect sparkling lights, festive bells, gigantic stars and a super gorgeous Instagrammable venue at The Galleria. Guests can look forward to posing by a towering nine-metre tree and a spectacular illuminated reindeer installation. Get bedazzled with the magic of the festive season with the most extraordinary seasonal décor. Don’t miss Santa and his reindeer soaring above the Central Atrium while giant baubles at the entrance provide the perfect backdrop for some insta-worthy shots, videos and timeless memories – no filter needed!
Ho Ho Ho, Santa Claus is coming to The Galleria’s Winter Village
No festive season is complete without the main man himself! Create priceless memories during the most wonderful time of the year, with a meet and greet by Santa Claus at the spectacular Winter Village, all while social distancing. Located in the North Atrium by Debenhams, family and friends can stop by Santa’s sleigh to pay him a visit and show how good they’ve been this year. Guests can also have their photo taken and emailed to them on the spot!
Saturday to Wednesday between 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Thursday and Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm
Safety guidelines: Guests are required to book their meet and greet slot ahead of visiting the Winter Village through the online booking application: www.santaatthegalleria.com. Santa’s elves are there to help guide you to Santa’s sleigh on presentation of your booking confirmation.
Letters by Mail: The North Pole
Head to the Winter Village on Ground Level or Central Kitchens on Level 3 to take part in the ‘Letters to Santa’ activation.
Your little ones can send Santa a letter with all the reasons they should be on the good list this year, and a wish list of their most-coveted gifts from their favourite stores at The Galleria. Post letters to the North Pole and children of all ages stand a chance to have their wish come true: 10 lucky children will receive a special gift on a weekly basis at The Galleria!
Festive themed sensory rooms
It’s beginning to look & smell a lot like Christmas! Located on the Level 2 by the Food Court and Family Park, guests can look forward to visiting the magnificent festive sensory rooms, embellished with candy canes, gingerbread, and cinnamon sticks. Bringing to Abu Dhabi the true essence of the winter season, family and friends can indulge in delightful aromas bound to put anyone in the festive mood!
