To begin the fun for the kids, #MakeAndPlay activities for kids at the museum is here to stay. Learn about art inspired by the museum with your family or create something unique and surprise someone. Each project has been inspired by a treasure in the museum, covering many ages and cultures. With all the material provided to you and staff on-hand to assist you, the task is an easy one. You will also know where to head with the kids in their leisure time.
Taking place until 30th September, daily except Mondays. Timing 11.30 am / 2.30 pm / 4.30 pm ( 2 hours per session) with a maximum of 12 people per session and 4 people per group at the same table. (Family or friends).

Children’s Museum for maximising fun with family
Louvre Abu Dhabi’s Children’s Museum is now open with a fantastic new exhibition that will take children on an interactive adventure of art and activities that will help them identify and explore their emotions. Combining entertainment and education for children aged four to 10, Emotions!: The New Art Adventure will feature ten artworks and four interactive stations, which will familiarise visitors with four main emotions: joy/ serenity, sadness, fear, and anger. The museum is free for children. Families have to buy only the museum admission tickets for access to the galleries and exhibitions.
Chill Out at Aptitude Café
If a laid back weekend is on your mind, head to Aptitude Café. It has irresistible food and even more irresistible view of the iconic dome, sky and sea. Devour in hot dishes and breakfast items, along with the tempting pastries and specialty coffee that regulars have always enjoyed.

Reflect and Express with activities for children and youth
Reflect and Express is a useful tool for educators, caregivers and parents offering creative and therapeutic art-making activities inspired by the museum’s artworks. The interactive e-book covers daily-life themes such as feelings, self-awareness and relationships, providing prompts that help develop an understanding of emotions and guides users on how to cope with certain situations.
Kayaking for Juniors
Take a tour on a kayak and learn all about the architecture at Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Tours taking place on 22nd and 23rd August at 7.30 pm and 9.00 pm at AED 126 per person.
Junior tours
Fridays and Saturdays | 8:00am, AED 126 for 1 adult and 1 child free.
Children aged 6 – 12 years can have fun paddling around on a special children’s tour.
