The PCR tests at VPS healthcare hospitals and clinics have now decreased to AED 180 from AED 250.
The government is encouraging the resident to get PCR tests for Covid-19 should they feel the rise of any symptoms. This price reduction is an added effort to urge people to be cautious to contain the spread of the virus.
The tests at VPS Healthcare hospitals and clinics in both Abu Dhabi and Al – Ain and all the screening facilities under SEHA will be offering these tests. The results are expected to be available within 24 – 28 hours.
The PCR tests are the more accurate options to test for the viral strain. Therefore, this reduction in the price will make it easier on people’s expense to check for the infection by opting for the nasal swab.
These tests can be booked online as they the facilities are quiet busy and it would be advisable to book your sessions online to avoid unnecessary waiting time.
