Eid al-Fitr Dates For Private Sector Has Now Been Revealed

Eid Al Fitr

We already know the dates for the public sector but now here’s the news we have been waiting for all along.

We told you earlier this week that the Federal Authority For Government Human Resources – UAE announced five days off for Eid al-Fitr for the public sector.

Now it is official that the UAE’s private sector has received the Eid dates from the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE).

The announcement has called for a three-day paid holiday from Friday 22 May to Tuesday 26 May 26, which means like the public sector, the private sector will also enjoy a five-day break.

The exact dates, however, still need to be confirmed nearer the time by the moon-sighting committee.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting for Muslims.
