What happens if we switch bodies of two people from different cultural backgrounds? In the case of an upcoming local comedy film, expect lots of laughter, silly skits and even more laughter thrown in between.

Directed by Emirati director Mohammed Saaed Harib (Freej), Rashid & Rajab tells the tale of a wealthy Emirati executive who switched bodies with a carefree Egyptian fast food deliveryman following a freak road accident.

The ensuing scenes are absolute hilarious as the two protagonists struggle to fit into their new roles while desperately trying to regain their old identities.

Sounds like a whole lot of fun. The film, however, is scheduled to hit theatres across the region in June for Eid Al Fitr.

For now, you can enjoy the film’s teaser below.

Rashid and Rajab allows you to see the world through someone else’s eyes, but when it comes to wanting to be someone else, be careful what you wish for,” said Mohammed about his film. The movie is backed by media-production company, Image Nation Abu Dhabi, which recently made headlines after its co-produced documentary film, Free Solo, won Best Documentary at the Academy Awards.
