All public buses in Abu Dhabi are being sterilised after being suspended on Wednesday evening.
The Department of Municipalities and Transport announced that Abu Dhabi’s public bus system will be suspended while they carry out a 48 hour programme of sterilisation.
It also announced that the capital’s bus service will resume on Saturday 25th April from 6 am in the morning.
The capital’s bus service has been running a reduced service during the pandemic and only allows a maximum of 15 passengers at a time on each journey, in keeping with the UAE’s social distancing policies.
