Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is all set to take us to a new place

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the newest national airline of the United Arab Emirates, today announced its first flight to Tel Aviv on 18th April.

Following the announcement that Israel has been added to the green list (a list of ‘green’ countries, regions and territories that you can travel from if planning a trip to Abu Dhabi), meaning travellers will no longer need to quarantine upon arrival in Abu Dhabi.

Tickets are already on sale on wizzair.com and the airline’s mobile app, which is also available in Arabic, with fares starting as low as AED 99*.

The flights from Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv will be available three times per week in April, moving to daily flights in May.

Tel Aviv is Israel’s cultural and commercial capital city featuring golden beaches and a lively cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is a perfect destination for those who wish to discover culture, explore new places, unlock history and enjoy Israel’s delectable cuisine.

  • Bookings

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi encourages travellers to book directly at wizzair.com or via the airline’s mobile app, so that refunds can be processed as quickly as possible.

When bookings are made on the online travel booking platforms, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is unable to directly contact the passenger about relevant refund options, as the booking owner is not the passenger but the platform via which tickets were purchased.

As a result, the refund may be delayed. Passengers who booked tickets via online travel booking platforms have no other option but to rely on the actions of the booking owner. Each online travel booking platform has different ways of handling refund requests that are beyond Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s influence and control.

  • Health & Safety

For an extra layer of protection during these uncertain times, passengers can purchase the additional WIZZ Flex service with their flight tickets, which allows them to alter their booking with ultimate flexibility.

By doing so, passengers can cancel their flight up to 3 hours before departure without any fee and get 100% of the original fare immediately reimbursed in airline credit, as well as change dates and even routes an unlimited number of times.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi was recently named one of the world’s top ten safest airlines by airlineratings.com, the world’s only safety and product rating agency, and 2020 Airline of the Year by ATW, the most coveted honour an airline or individual can receive, recognizing individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves through outstanding performance, innovation, and superior service.

Bon voyage!
